Reed is again the anomaly in , ranking 43rd in par 3 performance, but Tiger Woods , Danny Willett , Jordan Spieth , and Bubba Watson all ranked in the Top 2 for how they played the par 3s. While not being as important as the par 3s, how the pros play the long holes is going to dictate how well they fare on the leaderboard.
Holes 2, 8, 13, and 15 throw up birdie chances, but playing these solidly rather than spectacularly is important. Reed , Johnson , and Mickelson ranked first for par 5 performance, but three of the last four winners have been outside the Top Danny Willett was as low as 54th when he won in Experience is key.
Willett and Spieth both won on just their second go at Augusta, but they are the exceptions rather than the rule. Sergio Garcia had played 18 times before winning in , and Adam Scott had played it 11 times before winning in Having at least one look around this infamous course is crucial, and honestly, the more the better.
Danny Willett and Zach Johnson are the only winners in the last 15 years who had never finished in the Top 30 at Augusta, so we are looking for someone with Augusta form not just experience. Johnson laid up at every single par 5 that week, and it worked. TheMasters pic. Patrick Reed ranked 24th is the only player in the last eight years to be ranked outside of the Top 16 in the world when he won, although the world No.
It probably goes without saying, but if you want to contend for the green jacket you need to have shown some title-challenging form, particularly earlier in the season. Nine of the last 10 winners had posted a Top 10 in the season on the way to Augusta, with Spieth and Bubba both winning earlier in the year. Trevor Immelman in is the anomaly, having not finished better than 17th in the season he won the green jacket.
Jordan Spieth can finally do something he's been waiting for his entire life: wear the green jacket. Ranked No. At the end of October he finished second, one shot behind Patrick Cantlay in the Zozo Championship, so he ticks the box for earlier season form. Rahm also ranked in the Top 15 on Tour last year for scrambling, putting average and par 3 performance, as well as ranking 18th for greens in regulation and 17th for driving distance.

Not content with boasting a pipeline bursting at the seams with multiple candidates in various stages of development, Sorrento Therapeutics SRNE has now added another arrow to the quiver.
The new entity will advance and commercialize a technology platform which was developed by the Mayo Clinic to produce antibody-drug conjugates ADC. The platform has been exclusively licensed to Sorrento. Nine potential ADNAB candidates have been created by the team, two of which are currently in the process of enrolling patients for an FDA-supervised, human trial.
Sorrento, however, believes the platform has potential to be effective in areas other than oncology and work has already begun on developing it for auto-immune diseases. Later this year, the company intends to file several Investigational New Drug IND applications and will also apply for Breakthrough Therapy designation in both ovarian and endometrial cancers.
Wainwright analyst Ram Selvaraju thinks the new entity is good news for investors. Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in this article are solely those of the featured analyst. Bearing this in mind, we set out to find stocks flagged as exciting growth plays by Wall Street. Kaleyra boasts over 3, customers, who make 3 billion voice calls and sent 27 billion text messages in the last year with full numbers available.
While Kaleyra still runs a net earnings loss each quarter, the Q3 EPS was the lowest such loss in the past four quarters. Maxim analyst Allen Klee is bullish on KLR, seeing recent growth and product offerings as indicative of future performance. We expect benefits from operating leverage, low-cost tech employees, cost volume discounts as the company expands, and margin improvement from new offerings and geographies. Vista is a sporting goods company, with 40 brands in two main divisions: outdoor products and shooting sports.
Both quarters showed strong year-over-year EPS gains. Covering Vista for B. Riley, 5-star analyst Eric Wold sees several avenues for continued growth by Vista. He is impressed by the growth in firearm and ammunition sales, and by the price increase for products in both the outdoor goods and the shooting sports divisions.
That rating is based on 9 recent reviews, all to Buy. See VSTO stock analysis on TipRanks Textainer Group Holdings TGH You might not think about the ubiquitous cargo container, but these deceptively simple metal boxes have changed the face of bulk transport since their breakout proliferation in the s.
These containers make it easy to organize, load, ship, and track vast amounts of cargo, and are especially valuable for their ease of switching; containers can be quickly loaded on or switched between ships, trains, and trucks. Textainer is a billion-dollar company that buys, owns, and leases shipping containers for the cargo industry. The company has over customers, and boasts a fleet of 3 million twenty-foot equivalent units TEUs.
Textainer is also a major reseller of used containers, and operates from depots around the world. Even during the corona pandemic, when international trading routes and patterns were badly disrupted, and the quarterly revenues were down year-over-year, Textainer saw share gains.
The bulk of these gains have come in the past six months, as economies — and trading patterns — have begun to reopen. Looking at Textainer for B. Riley, analyst Daniel Day is deeply impressed. He sees this company as the lowest priced among its peer group, with a strong market share in a competitive industry.
Day's is the only recent analyst review of this company, and it is decidedly positive. Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in this article are solely those of the featured analysts.
In those past three years, each winner has gone on to finish in the first five of the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham. Tower Bridge finished fifth at Cheltenham, whilst fourth that year Dortmund Park ended up earning Grade 1 honours at the Punchestown Festival. Back in fourth, Fury Road also hit the frame in the Albert Bartlett, and whilst we have yet to see a festival winner emerge from this 2m6f event, I expect it is only a matter of time.
It is also worth noting that Tower Bridge and Commander Of Fleet were only five-year-olds, and those of that age do tend to find it difficult in the Albert Bartlett. Given the open-look to the Albert Bartlett at present, this race could have a significant impact on the ante-post market. His maiden win over 2m4f from the Christmas Festival has been well advertised by the placed horses as recently as last weekend by the runner-up and he is now prominent in the market for the Ballymore, behind Bravemansgame and Bob Olinger, both of whom have already won at Grade 1 level.
This could be a very strong renewal, and should set the tone for the weekend. Formerly the Deloitte Novice Hurdle 2m2f , Istabraq won this race in before winning the Ballymore or the Royal SunAlliance as it was back then , whilst Hardy Eustace 2nd and Windsor Park 4th emerged from the Deloitte to win the same Cheltenham contest. That last-named pairing were, of course, trained by Willie Mullins, who has won this race seven times in the past eight years, with only Samcro — in the first year of it being staged over 2m — breaking his formidable run.
At the beginning of the campaign, I expected him to need 2m4f or thereabouts over hurdles, but he beat a smart horse in the shape of Master McShee won twice since on his debut at Cork, before running out a taking winner of the Grade 1 Future Champions Novice Hurdle over this course-and-distance.
Cut from a similar cloth as previous winner Champagne Fever , he is likely to be difficult to beat here, which will in turn, likely strengthen his position at the top of the betting for the Supreme. I still have — in the back of my mind — that he could be more of a Ballymore horse, so Sunday could be telling. What is telling is that in the three years that the race has been staged in its current format over the minimum trip , two of the winners have gone on to win one of the festival novice hurdles.
This tends to be strong form, and this year is likely to prove no different. The second of four Grade 1s on Saturday is the Dublin Chase , with the 2m1f contest another which has been dominated by Willie Mullins. He chased home his stable-mate in the same ownership last year, en route to winning the Ryanair at the festival, whilst the winner was forced to miss the Champion Chase at the very last minute.
Team Mullins would probably be more than happy for the same outcome this year, teeing both up nicely for their respective festival assignments. Next up is the Irish Arkle. Un de Sceaux, Douvan and Footpad all won this race en route to winning the Cheltenham equivalent in recent years all trained by — you guessed it — Willie Mullins , although the former was the first to complete the Arkle double since Klairon Davis some 20 years earlier Moscow Flyer might well have completed the double in , but he was a faller in this race, showing early signs of his tendency to hit the deck every so often; he actually fell twice out of his first five starts over fences, but got it right on the big day in March, when he comfortably won the Arkle.
Back to matters in hand, and Mullins again holds a very strong hand, with Energumene, Unexcepted and Franco de Port among the entries. The former is currently second-favourite in the Arkle market for Cheltenham, and if he is to justify that position, as the likely chief threat to Shishkin, he probably needs to be winning this, with underfoot conditions in his favour. He was impressive at Tipperary in October in the race in which Captain Guinness pulled-up with a heart issue and the form has worked out well.
Of those mentioned above, Franco de Port looked to win the Grade 1 over Christmas through stamina, so another bold showing here could see him step up in distance at the festival next month. Melon finished fourth in this race went close, of course, last year, too. Between and , no fewer than seven of the 16 winners of the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham had contested the Irish Champion Hurdle on their previous start. The first six of those — Istabraq x3 , Brave Inca and Hurricane Fly x2 — were successful, whilst Jezki finished fourth in this race, before landing the feature race on day one of the festival seven years ago.
Hurricane Fly won this race for five successive years between — , and following his fifth win in the race, he hit the frame in his final Champion Hurdle, as did Petit Mouchoir after he won the renewal both finished third. Sharjah was impressive over Christmas in the Matheson Hurdle, and he probably had the excuse of a change of tactics ridden a lot more prominently when disappointing in this race 12 months ago.
Saint Roi and Abacadabras both disappointed — to differing degrees — in that Matheson, but could easily bounce back, whilst Saldier is expected to improve for his reappearance. The entries for this race suggest that it could be the strongest bumper run so far this season, and the stand-out and rather obvious contender looks to be Sir Gerhard who beat a subsequent bumper winner by 14 lengths at Down Royal, before ending the winning run of Letsbeclearaboutit — who could re-oppose — in a Listed event at Navan in mid-December.
Should he win this, he is likely to harden considerably for the Champion Bumper, a race which owners Cheveley Park Stud will be bidding to win for a third year in a row. Flat Race. The crew have 15 seconds each to dance before the next contestant goes on, and each dance usually receives good natured laughing and booing from the audience. Following Tim Lovejoy's departure, several of the crew members including "Fenners" John Fendley , "Sheephead" and Robbie Knox also departed, which meant the end of some of the features of the show.
From to the previous weekends highlights from Boston United 's games featured in their own segment called "Boston Goals". The commentary would be exaggerated and 'Americanized' with various phrases featured in American sports like Baseball , Basketball and American football featuring heavily. Phrases featured were "PK" for a penalty, "Corner Restart" for a corner, "Ejected" for a red card, "Rejected" for a save by the goalkeeper, "Top body strike" for a header.
Shots or goals hit into the top corner would be described as hit towards the "upper 90" or "lower 90" with phrases such as "Touchdown" occasionally used to describe a goal and "fumble" when a player would lose a ball to the other team, a goalkeeper was occasionally referred to as a "Point Guard" The feature ended when Boston United were relegated from the Football League at the end of the —07 season. In Small Talk, Rocket and Arrogant Baby Elvis go around the streets of a chosen British town and ask a question related to a current event in the Football world e.
His catchphrase was "I'm Here All Week". A topless man reads the weather, with frequent references to gravy. The sketch is a light hearted take on the way Americans take "Soccer" and expressions used, phrases were coined in a similar way to the previous Boston Goals sketch as Fenners who had played "Mike Schweinberger" also played Bobley. The theme was the "Brad Bobley Soccer Camp" and each week he would show participants how to execute a variety of different football skills such as Penalties, Free Kicks and challenges.
The segment would often feature Bobley lambasting and swearing at Rocket and hitting him over the head with his clipboard. He coined the phrase "Megnuts, so sweet" in reference to a "Nutmeg". The real Bradley was dismissed after only a few months in the Swansea job, but Soccer AM continued with the Brad Bobley character for the rest of the —17 season. This lead to a new feature called "Megnuts of the Week".
When asked about Bradley's sacking Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe accidentally referred to him by naming him "Brad", this was picked up on by the show who played it the following week. The Soccer AM Webcam was introduced in the start of the 10th season.
Refreshing every 5 seconds, it gave viewers the opportunity to view a live feed from the Soccer AM Office. Due to popular demand, it was later upgraded to refreshing every 3 seconds. The webcam soon gained its own feature on the show - a soap picking out the best behind-the-scenes moments from the office, and concluding with a cliffhanger of a will he-won't he. The webcam broke in between seasons in the summer of , but at the start of the following season the team announced that a new webcam had been installed with improved pictures as well as the ability for the team to zoom in on certain aspects of the office.
Borne out of the link between professional footballers and golf, "The Ten-Yard Bucket Challenge" sees a professional footballer attempting to chip a golf ball into a bucket from a distance of ten yards. The football-golf link exists due mainly to the amount of free time footballers are allowed in the daytime after training sessions, and Soccer AM' s homage to golf involves a single personality from the world of football who attempts the challenge.
One notable attempt was from Ryan Taylor , then of Tranmere Rovers , who was not featuring in the challenge that week, but was accompanying teammate Jason McAteer. While cameras happened to be rolling, he had a go and accomplished the feat in a single attempt. Many overconfident amateurs have been known to run tallies of well over a hundred attempts.
The background music to the challenge is "Ladyflash" by The Go! A part of the show where two players from a club compete to see who can hit the bullseye of a dart board first. The current holder with only two throws is Emmanuel Eboue whilst he was playing for Arsenal. As its audience share grew, its influence grew in turn.
Some of the show's notable influences have included:. For some seasons, Soccer AM had the privilege of being able to draw fixtures for each round of the Football League Trophy. This was normally done - in the style of British gameshow Play Your Cards Right - by the presenters cutting oversized cards onto large holders, and turning them over one at a time to generate football matches. A soundtrack of indie and rock music featured in the show's goal compilations was released in June The club's Camrose Stadium was renamed 'The Soccer AM Stadium' as part of the partnership — with the club featuring regularly on the show.
